Hard Rock International has chosen long-term partner Scientific Games Corporation (NASDAQ: SGMS) to deliver the Nevada-based company’s OpenSports and OpenGaming solutions across regulated markets in the U.S.
The Seminole Tribe of Florida-owned firm recently mutually terminated an existing platform and sportsbook services collaboration with Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) after the two companies were unable to come to terms for a commercial agreement that would support the other’s strategic aims.

The first line of business will entail Scientific Games deploying both its OpenSports digital and retail solutions for Hard Rock in Iowa and New Jersey. The Las Vegas-based gambling company will also serve as the exclusive provider of sportsbooks operating under the international brand across the agreed-upon states.
Additionally, HRI’s Hard Rock casino apps and HardRockCasino.com in the Garden State will be powered by OpenGaming, with the solution also delivering the player account platform across all HRI digital solutions across the Midwestern and northeastern U.S. states.
