Light & Wonder announced the acquisition of Playzido, a platform provider and game supply company this week. The new deal gives Light & Wonder a significant way to increase its online gaming content capability. Light & Wonder Rebrand
It is important to note the rebranding of Scientific Games Corporation to Light & Wonder. The rebrand was announced in early March, showcasing how the company wants to change to better execute its plans to become a leading cross-platform global gaming company.
The rebrand process took place shortly after the company signed a stock-and-cash agreement to sell its sports betting division OpenBet to Endeavor Group Holdings Incorporated. Another deal was signed shortly after with Brookfield Asset Management Incorporated involving the company’s global lottery operations.
