A multi-year agreement has been signed between International Game Technology PLC (IGT) and Authentic Brands Group, giving the gaming company exclusive property licensing rights to develop and distribute lottery games themed after the iconic Elvis Presley. The new games will be created and distributed throughout the United States and Canada. Authentic Brands Group is a global brand development, marketing, and entertainment company. The group owns the Elvis brand.

For IGT, having access to the Elvis Presley brand is a solid way to create new games that will instantly become popular. The legacy of Elvis is decades long and with over 15 million fans on social media, the King of Rock ‘N’ Roll will never be forgotten. IGT Chief Operating Officer, Lottery, Jay Gendron, commented on the new deal by stating: “Elvis Presley is one of the most influential pop culture icons of the 20th century, and IGT is excited to offer Elvis games to our customers and their players.”
The company is committed to create a multi-channel and multi-jurisdictional option to players via the brand. The goal is to offer gaming options across all platforms available to the company.
The Authentic Brands Group is happy to be working with IGT. Group President, Entertainment, Marc Rosen, commented that the company is pleased to have partnered with the developer to create fun games for fans of Elvis as well as lottery players.
It has been some time since IGT announced a new lottery game deal. Back in September 2020, the company announced it was working with the Minnesota Lottery still, having signed a two-year extension to an existing contract.
IGT has been supplying the state with instant games since 2010 and will continue to do so through June 2022. With the extension, IGT will continue to supply instant ticket services along with reach and analytical functions.
