Hot on the heels of its big win at the International Gaming Awards (IGAs), and Swedish provider of online gaming solutions, Yggdrasil Gaming, has launched Ice and Fire, the first title from Asian-focused content developer DreamTech Gaming to be released on its invitation-only, semi-open platform.
Founded in 2016, the Maltese based firm is owned by Nebula Gaming and is the sixth independent studio to become part of Yggdrasil Gaming’s YGS Masters program.

Never-ending battle:
The new fantasy-based title, which has a return to player (RTP) of 96.64 percent, sees elemental rivals, ice and fire, square off across two side by side 5×5 grids. Sharing wilds, the two kingdoms are locked in a never-ending battle.
There are a total of 120 paylines, 60 per reel set, in this high variance slot where wins create cascading features. Players who land at least four winning Cascades in one spin, trigger the extra games feature and can then select an elemental dragon to aid them in their quest for glory.
Ultra-volatile, the extra games feature places as many as 150 additional wild symbols on the dual reels, with the possibility of retriggering the bonus round within the mode, leading to enormous win potential.
The Multiplier feature is triggered when a player lands three dragon egg scatter symbols anywhere on the reels, which can award 10 extra games, with an increasing multiplier after each cascading win.
YG Masters:
Yggdrasil has made significant updates to its flagship YG Masters program since the January 20 launch of its new Publishing division. The move enables games developers and content partners to swiftly commercialize “roadmap offerings” via its worldwide distribution network using “full capacity of promotional tools driving customer acquisition, retention and engagement,” according to the Stockholm-headquartered provider.

DreamTech joined the program in late April 2019, gaining access to Boost, Yggdrasil’s collection of proprietary in-game promotional tools. Growing by leaps and bounds, the provider’ YGS Masters program, which was launched in 2018, currently has six studio partners, including Northern Lights, Rabcat, Fantasma, 4ThePlayer, AvatarUX, as well as the studio responsible for Ice and Fire.
