Global B2B gaming technology platform provider Bragg Gaming Group (NASDAQ: BRAG) has gained access to The Bahamas after being approved for a gaming supply license to offer its online content and services in the Caribbean country.
The certification process complete, it won’t be long before the provider’s operator partners in the archipelago are able to offer proprietary, exclusive and aggregated online casino content through its Oryx Gaming subsidiary.
Viewed as a “high-potential” market, the Bahamian certification is Bragg’s latest, following other regulated launches in the past 12 months, including the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Greece, Switzerland and the Czech Republic.
Fantastic opportunity:
Chris Looney, Chief Commercial Officer at Bragg, commented on the accomplishment, stating…
“The Bahamas represents a fantastic opportunity for us to leverage our strength in appealing to different player demographics and highlights our team’s overall flexibility and scope of content.”
Bragg’s CCO goes on to explain that the company’s latest license award “furthers” its “global growth strategy and for a market that is one of several” that they “expect to go live in over the balance of this year.”
Looney says they are looking forward to getting started with their “soon to be announced Bahamian partners.”
Similar demographic to target markets:
According to Bragg, the player base in the Bahamas has a similar demographic to the United States and Canada, both of which are markets that the Nasdaq-listed company expects to “target more widely” later in 2022, with additional license applications in motion in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ontario and New Jersey.
Recent agreements:
In late January, the London-headquartered provider launched the first title from its newly established game development studio, Atomic Slot Lab, directed by U.S. industry veteran Doug Fallon. And later in the month, Bragg expanded its partnership with online casino and sports betting operator Novibet, which rolled out Oryx’s content including exclusive titles from German online casino games developer Gamomat, along with Armenia-based studio Peter & Sons, in addition to those developed by the Slovenian iGaming solution provider’s in-house studio and are now accessible to its customers in the UK.
Most recently, Bragg’s subsidiary went live in the Czech Republic courtesy of a new alliance with Synot group, by way of its Synot Interactive platform. The strategic move marked the company’s debut in the central European country.
Courtesy of the business partnership between Oryx and Synot Interactive, which was established in January 2021, a range of exclusive titles from German online casino games developer Gamomat, are now being delivered to the Czech brand via the Oryx Hub. Along with the launch in the Czech Republic, an array of exclusive content from the latter has additionally been added and is already available to online operators in Serbia via Synot Interactive’s omnichannel platform.
